About All Points Argentina
We know that an ideal holiday does not just depend on the destination, but what you take away with you from that place. It is this knowledge that drives us at All Points Argentina to create a tailored experience as unique and individual as you are. And for this we believe that a “face to face” approach between you and us is of utmost importance.
We are a small, personal company and we plan to stay this way! So from the moment you request any information, right through until you return home at the end of your trip, you will always be dealing with the same people: Annabel, Julieta and the small team of local guides and special people who we have met and have joined us along the way. |

First we like to find out your interests, requirements and a little bit about you and the people you will be travelling with. This helps us create the perfect itinerary, meeting all your expectations whether you are travelling on your own, as a couple, a family or with a group of friends. We love to chat on email, the phone or even in person (if you are based in the UK) to ensure that everything is right for you from the start. We understand that one person’s ideal could be someone else’s nightmare, so we like to find out your preferences in advance. But don’t worry if you are not sure about what you want to see or where you might want to go, we can make some fantastic suggestions and recommendations to help you on the way and to ensure you have the best possible trip.
As a team we strive to be flexible and we are always on hand throughout your trip. If you need help or advice, or would like to book an excursion last minute, we are just a phone call away and will go out of our way to grant your wishes.
And most importantly, we all love Argentina! We all live here, know the best bits and have spent time with those who visit. This makes us the perfect team to advise and arrange your holiday.
So now a little bit about us so you know who you will be dealing with...
Annabel is the founder of All Points Argentina. Her first visit to the country was in 2002 during a 6 month trip to South America and immediately she fell in love with it – the friendly people, relaxed atmosphere and stunning landscapes, so varied from one place to the next. All this just made her return again and again and on each trip she discovered more and more wonderful places. So after three years working for a travel company she decided to set up All Points Argentina; driven by a desire to enable others to enjoy Argentina in the same way that she does. Now she spends half of her time in London and the other half in Bariloche in the Argentinean Lake District, and she likes nothing more than sharing her knowledge and experience of this fantastic country with those to come to visit, whether they be clients, friends or family.
Julieta is our main contact in Argentina. She lives in Bariloche with her husband, Jose, and loves to meet those
who visit the area and chat with them about things to do and places to go. She is also well travelled in Argentina
so can give you information on many different places around the country. As well as this she has a fascination with
English history and knows more about it than most Brits! She recently visited the UK and returned to Bariloche with
a number of souvenirs including an “I Love London” t-shirt which we try to discourage her from wearing in Argentina!
Ariane is our Dutch Argentinean horse riding guide in northern Patagonia. She has spent many years living in a small village in the Patagonian steppe and is friends with all the local families. She is also extremely familiar with the culture and traditions of the country folk and will take you up into the mountains on horse back where you will stay with the people in their simple yet welcoming homes. Fluent in a number of languages she is a great link between you and the local Mapuche families, and her warm open character makes her a delightful person to spend a few days with.
Juan Carlos often accompanies Ariane on the horse riding trips. He is a true gaucho with an endless knowledge of the Patagonian steppe and the Andes, the medicinal value of plants and, most importantly, his horses with whom he has an amazing relationship. He cooks the most delicious asados (traditional Argentinean barbeque) on an open fire in the middle of nowhere and loves to chat – the language barrier never stopping him from having the best conversations with everyone he meets.
Juan is our driver in Iguazu. It was Annabel’s parents who first met him during a visit several years ago and he is now a dedicated All Points Argentina team member. He was once described by a client as “such a calm, kind man, who knows so much about the area, where nothing was too much trouble.” He has been brought up in Iguazu, where all his family lives and where he has learnt English from the tourists he has driven around, backwards and forwards to the National Parks in both Argentina and Brazil to see the mighty waterfalls. He is the “Mr Fixit” of Iguazu!
All of us are nature lovers and know the importance of doing our bit for the environment, whether this be switching to low energy light bulbs, making our own compost or offsetting our carbon footprints. We believe in responsible travel and respecting the environment. Join us in the effort to maintain the planet so that generations after us can appreciate the land in the same way we do.
